About Wendy

Not a founder story. Not a mythology. Just how this started and where it's going.

Kitchen workspace with sourdough, herbs, and preserving projects

How This Started

Wendy started making things because she became interested in knowing what was in the things she used, understanding how they were made, and seeing how much she could do herself.

It wasn't a grand plan. It wasn't a lifestyle pivot captured in aesthetic photos. It was curiosity — one question at a time.

Can I make bread that actually tastes good? That led to sourdough.

What are these herbs actually for? That led to a home apothecary.

Could I grow some of this myself? That led to a garden.

How do I keep all this from going bad? That led to jars, preserving, and figuring out food storage.

One project led to another. Bread led somewhere. Herbs led somewhere. Growing led somewhere. The home apothecary grew.

What Wendy Made Is

Wendy Made It is the place where all of this gets documented. Not as instructions from an expert — because Wendy is still learning. Not as a polished brand pretending everything is perfect — because plenty of things go wrong.

It's a record of:

  • →What Wendy is trying
  • →What Wendy is learning
  • →What works and what doesn't
  • →Mistakes worth talking about
  • →Things people keep asking for
  • →Projects worth making again

The Part Where People Started Asking

Here's something that happened: people started asking Wendy to make things for them.

Sourdough bread. Tinctures. Herbal preparations. Things Wendy was already making at home, suddenly things other people wanted too.

So Wendy Made It became more than documentation. It became the place where the journey meets actual demand — where people can see what Wendy is making, follow along with what she's learning, and raise their hand if they want something she's made.

What This Isn't

✗Not a supplement company
✗Not a wellness brand selling answers
✗Not a farmhouse décor store
✗Not expert advice from someone who knows everything
✗Not a fake catalog of products that don't exist
✗Not a promise that everything always works

I make things in small batches and they tend to go fast. If you want to know when something’s ready and available — or tell me you’re interested in something I’m making — put your email here.
