I'm learning to grow more of our own food, make more things from scratch, preserve what I can, and build a practical home apothecary along the way. I'm sharing what works, what doesn't, and what I learn as I go.
Small-batch sourdough, pantry staples, and apothecary goods I make by hand. Available to order for in-store pickup.
SHOP
Most of this started with me wanting to make more things myself and know exactly what went into them. One project tends to lead to another. These are the four places most of it ends up.

Herbs, salves, tinctures, teas and the things I'm learning to make and keep at home.

Sourdough, scratch cooking, pantry staples and things I'd rather make than buy.

Vegetables, herbs, raised beds and what I'm learning about growing food in Central Texas.

Canning, dehydrating, fermenting, freezing and figuring out how to keep what I grow and make.
Making more at home, growing what I can, and learning as I go.

KITCHEN
I’m learning to make good bread with flour, water, salt, and time. Each loaf teaches me a little more about my starter, the dough, and the bake.

GROWING
I’m growing more of our food and herbs at home, learning what works in Central Texas and taking it one season at a time.

APOTHECARY
I’m learning to make simple herbal preparations and build a practical home apothecary, paying attention to the ingredients I use.

PRESERVING
I’m learning to preserve what comes from the garden and kitchen so more of it gets used, with simple ways to keep food for later.

KITCHEN
I’m trying homemade versions of the foods and pantry staples we use often, starting with one thing and keeping what works for us.
I started making more things at home because I wanted to know what was actually in the food we ate and the things we used.
That turned into baking bread, growing food and herbs, preserving what I could, and learning how to build a practical home apothecary.
I’m still learning. Some things work beautifully. Some things absolutely do not. Wendy Made It is where I share both — what I’m making, what I’m learning, and the things I decide are actually worth doing again.

I’m making things in small batches, with limited quantities available right now. Leave your email and I’ll keep you posted on new products, what I’m making next, and when a batch is ready to order.
Email updates from Wendy Made It about new products and small-batch availability.
